Engine Build Sheet Template - Well this is about my 3rd build sheet for parts. After selling my last couple of cars, i finally picked up what i've been wanting to build since i was 16. Growing up, my dad had a couple '79 trans am's that we'd cruise around in. Build a natuarlly aspirated small block chevy, that will produce 600hp at the flywheel. Also, i plan on changing the 727 transmission to an overdrive unit. I had the engine build sheet but lost it. I do however have a link to the engine running before it was removed and sold to me.
I built the custom 4 link (8.8) in the 1988 rx7 as well as some of the engine build in the '88 and the transmissions in both. I only need the specs from the plate, not the lifting bar since i already have an engine. Engine is rebuilt, unknown milage but very few (under 10,000) from the information i gathered.
Which would be better, a mopar 518 or a gm 700r4 w/. I want to build it up, to produce 350 to 400 hp. What is a good intake manifold, cam, cylinder head combination?
