This thursday, the 31st of October, I’ll be speaking at the WordPress Meetup “Arnhem / Nijmegen”. It’s being hosted by the guys at Savvii who are absolute specialists in doing full-service WordPress hosting. The Meetup is completely free for anyone to attend and starts at 19:00.
The Meetup will have two talks; Bèr Kessels will talk about using Git version control in both your own code and in an open-source context. After that i’ll be doing a talk about the five commandments of secure WordPress plugin development (loosely based on my recent article on WP Mayor, but presented through a case-study). The slides and code will of course be made available on this blog and on Github.
So if you feel like having a drink and watching some interesting talks this thursday, and you’re in the neighborhood of Nijmegen, please come by! We’d love to see you at the first Nijmegen Meetup!.
